CAMP KREM SUMMER PACKING LIST
This check list shows the total number of articles suggested for a 12-day session at summer camp. The camp does not assume responsibility for personal items brought to camp, Every effort will be made to see that campers will return home with all of their belongings. DO NOT PACK toys, games, cell phone, or electronics, of any kind.
Complete the list and tape it inside camper’s duffel bag,. Or, put it in a separate plastic bag or marked envelope inside the duffel bag. Indicate in the blank spaces the number of each article brought to camp.
MARK ALL CLOTHING WITH MARKING TAPES SEWN ON, OR WRITE YOUR CAMPER’S WITH A BLACK
WATERPROOF PEN.
Put names on the back neckline of shirts, etc. at rear waist on pants, at top of laundry bag, and on the corner of towels, washcloths and blanket. Flashlights, soap box, and all other items should be marked with the name on adhesive tape with waterproof ink. Camper’s name must be also marked on OUTSIDE of sleeping bag also. Put camper’s name on OUTSIDE and INSIDE of athletic or duffel bag. Do not send suitcases or footlockers. Small school-type lockers are available. THERE IS NO EXTRA STORAGE SPACE. Duffel bags will go underneath the bunk beds for daily use.
IMPORTANT! Pack inexpensive or used, older clothing. Many families buy used clothing at Salvation Army, Goodwill or Thrift Town to pack for camp. At camp, things easily wear out or sometimes get lost, so packing new or good clothing is NOT advised.
SUGGESTED ESSENTIAL ITEMS (for 12-days)
If camper takes medication, please pack enough for entire session. DO NOT PACK MEDICATIONS IN DUFFEL BAGS. FOR THOSE CAMPERS TAKING THE BUS, HAND MEDICATION TO BUS MONITOR. FOR CAMPERS COMING DIRECTLY TO CAMP, PARENTS /CAREGIVERS MUST BRING MEDICATIONS TO INFIRMARY AND GIVE THEM TO THE NURSE.
1 Sleeping bag (warm) 2 Pairs of shoes
1 Pillow & Case Including hiking shoes (optional)
2 Bath towels 2 Pairs of pajamas
2 Wash cloths 6 T-Shirts
11 Prs. of socks 1 Large Laundry bag
1 Swimsuit 1 Flashlight w/ extra batteries
11 Prs. Underwear 1 Hat or Cap with visor
4 Prs. of jeans –long pants 3 Sweater or sweatshirt 3
1 Warm jacket Hair ties, hair brush, (comb), deodorant
Toilet articles in plastic bag: soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, shaving equip.
Postcards, stamped, addressed (optional)
If camper DOES happen to have “toileting” mishaps, please pack extra clothing etc.
