Located in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains near the town of Boulder Creek. Camp Krem is 20 minutes from Santa Cruz and sixty miles South of San Francisco. Campers with developmental disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy and other physical or emotional differences can enjoy a wide variety of activities. Camp Krem offers six summer camp sessions with three unique types of programs. Camp Krem has ten rustic cabins, a multi-activity center / dining hall, an arts and crafts center, specially designed swimming pool, campfire arena, large playground, basketball and sports area, miles of nature trails and outdoor camp settings

Campers live in small cabin groups of 6 -7 with their trained, caring Counselors. Our supervision ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:4 counselors to campers.  An evaluation of your campers needs  will be made prior to acceptance at camp to determine the supervision level needed.  There is an additional charge for campers needing 1:1 supervision. Our dedicated staff is recruited from universities all over the United States and from several countries.

Campers are encouraged to choose activities for themselves from a wide variety of programs on a day-to-day basis, thus encouraging independent decision-making and freedom of choice for each camper. The programs and activities offered provide ample opportunities for socialization and developing greater independence. Campers build self-esteem while learning skills and enjoy many new interests. Campers make new friends in a fun, supportive and safe environment.   Our staff includes the Executive Director, Camp Director, Program Director, Registered Nurse & Assistant.
