Pick Up 9 AM Drop Off 5 PM The end of another terrific summer makes way for the beginning of 2011 year round programs! We’re going to pick up this year with a beach trip, taking advantage of the still wonderful California weather. We’ll pack a picnic, head over the hill and enjoy the North Bay’s terrific views. We’re going to drive to Muir woods to view some of California’s most impressive redwoods before making our way down to Stinson beach to watch the waves. What a perfect way to begin the Year-Round Program!!!

Coyote Hills Hike
Pick Up 9 AM Drop Off 5 PM
Comprised of nearly 978 acres of marshland and rolling grassland covered hills, this busy park is located along the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay, northwest of the cities of Fremont and Newark. We’ll pack a lunch and take advantage of all that this wonderful California Park has to offer. Hiking through the marshlands can be tiring, so midday, we’ll take out our Frisbees and other games on a quiet hill and relax for a bit. After our break, we’ll finish the hike and celebrate with some popsicles, after a job well done. Needless to say, the park's beauty is quite a wonder to behold and this is going to be a great trip!

The game starts around midday, so were going to bring the barbecue and tailgate before the game begins! With full stomachs, the Camp Krem crew will join in the excitement at the coliseum. Go A’s!!!

Outdoor Camp Sleepover
Pick Up 9 AM Saturday Drop Off 5 PM Sunday
Outdoor camp is one of Camp Krem’s most enjoyable entities and best kept secret. We’re going to have a camp out in our ODC facilities, where we’ll have one of our famous cookouts accompanied by a great Camp Krem campfire in the new ODC fire pit. In the morning, we’ll wake up in the great outdoors and hit the road, where we will try our luck at fishing at the Santa Cruz pier. With fish in hand, or otherwise, we’ll travel over to historic Natural Bridges State Beach and enjoy the warm sand and good company before we hit the road.

Northern California Renaissance Fair
Pick Up 9 AM Drop Off 5 PM
Foolishness and fun rule the day as ever popular favorites, Moonie the Magnificent and BrooN bring their unique brand of mischief and humor to the Fools stage. The town is buzzing as the villagers prepare for a visit from Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth and the most famous Privateer of the time, Sir Francis Drake. Happy peasants, crooked Constables, gossiping washerwomen, and merry maidens fill the streets with revelry as the festivities begin. Seven stages boast non stop entertainment.

Miniature Golf and Movie at the Great Mall
Pick Up 9 AM Drop Off 5 PM
With putters in hand, Camp Krem is hitting the green! Camp Krem is planning a golf trip of tiny proportions as we plan on going to play a round of miniature golf. After many birdies, eagles and of course, a few hole in ones, we’ll leave the clubhouse for other endeavors. After all of that strenuous activity, we’ll eat lunch before going to the Cinema to see a feature film. Definitely a trip that everyone can enjoy!
Bus Schedule: Pick-up & Return SAN JOSE/CAMPBELL: Take the Camden Road exit off Rte 880. Pick up is at the Jack In the Box just after you get off the exit.
EMERYVILLE: Take the Powell Street Exit off of I-80. Turn Left on Christie. Turn right on Shellmound Way. Look to the left, you will see Marketplace Plaza. We meet in the parking lot across from the stores, by the fence between the parking lot and the Amtrak Station.
Pick up and drop off times will be confirmed upon camper’s acceptance on the trip. Acceptance will be determined the Wednesday prior to trip date. We will wait 15 minutes past the pickup time. If you are going to be late or if you need to cancel, please call Gail at 510-222-6662.
